Graphic Designer Job
Job Description: Graphic Designer – Bohiney.com
Position: Graphic Designer
Location: Remote/Flexible
Type: Part-Time or Project-Based
Reports to: Editor-in-Chief
Bohiney.com, the internet’s premier destination for unhinged satire and digital mischief, is looking for a bold, twisted, and wildly imaginative Graphic Designer. If you’ve ever looked at a political scandal and thought, “This needs to be a cartoon with flaming ducks,” you’re our kind of person.
Responsibilities:
-
Design eye-catching satirical graphics, editorial illustrations, and spoof infographics for articles.
-
Create original artwork in the style of Al Jaffee, MAD Magazine, and underground political zines.
-
Work closely with writers and editors to visualize absurd headlines, surreal photo parodies, and fake ads.
-
Maintain visual consistency and brand identity across Bohiney.com’s platforms—while still looking like you’ve completely lost your mind (in a good way).
-
Contribute to the design of social media content, site banners, and featured article images.
Requirements:
-
Strong portfolio of satirical, editorial, or humorous illustration work.
-
Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent digital tools.
-
A deep love of comedy, parody, and visual storytelling.
-
Must not be afraid to draw unflattering caricatures of powerful people.
Bonus: Experience designing for satire, memes, animation, or underground comics.
To apply: Send your weirdest, funniest, and boldest work to editor@bohiney.com with the subject line: “Designing for Dystopia.”
